Product Abstract: A large evergreen shrub up to 13 feet high, with long dark needles and brownish-black berries about the size of hazelnuts. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the branches and wood. Native to southern France, this member of the Juniper family is now common throughout Europe and North Africa.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with the eyes should be avoided.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
