DescriptionFine, high altitude French Lavender oil has a fresh, sweet, floral, natural aroma. Unlike some floral extracts, French Lavender is pleasantly floral while not overpowering. Chemically, the European Lavenders are quite similar. Linalool, linalyl acetate, furfural, valeric aldehyde, amyl alcohol, pinene, cineol, and various other components occur naturally in French Lavender. High altitude Lavenders are typically preferable due to the higher ester content compared to that of Lavenders cultivated at lower altitudes.
